Cuteness in lavender

These gals are so sweet from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.    I chose to do this one in all shades of lavender, from dark to light.   I added faux stitching around my image, a ribbon along the bottom, then attached a gingham bow to it.   I added my array of flowers, as well as my beloved butterflies and doily.  Thanks for coming in to view!

Fairy thoughts

This is a Bildmalarna image, which, I believe, is no longer in business.   I've colored her with prismas/gamsol, then did faux stitching around,  layering frames to match my background papers.   I've used lace across the bottom, added a couple lacy doilies, flowers, butterflies and used die cuts for my foliage, as well as the upper corner, and then added a pearl to it.

Furry friends

Aren't these adorable friends -- this image comes from StampingBella and I kept the design simple, to keep focus on the image, and also because it's one that I did for SAS4Kids charity, which for safety sake, doesn't have buttons, brads, or anything that could be pulled off to cause a choking hazard.  I've colored with prismas/gamsol for the soft-touch look.

Dog-gone birthday

Well, while I had my box of birthday items out for the previous card, I figured it convenient to go ahead and make a second male birthday card.  This image comes from Crafty Sentiments Designs, and I made it work for a birthday, since cute boy images are on the skimpy side.   I also kept the embellishments to a minimum, by just using a couple shiny candi-dots and layering, which eases mailing, as well as not being frou-frou for a boy!   I colored the image with my favored prisma pencils.

Double scoop fun

Since I need a boy's birthday card real soon, I chose this cutie pie from Whimsy by Crissy Armstrong.  And, to carry on my party theme, shown by the hats on my background paper, I couldn't resist adding a couple 3-D party hats to my celebrants.  The sentiment is computer generated, and I added the star brads at the base.  Oh, and my image has been colored with prismas/gamsol and I added stickles to the scoops.   Yum . . .

Wonderful colors of autumn

This enticing little miss comes from The Paper Shelter - don't you just love her pocket pooch?  A big thanks to my BFF, Gail, for sending me this sweet background paper, which I've expanded on, by adding a foliage border die cut and topping it with flowers, using a flowery brad for the centers.  The glittered gold along the bottom is ribbon, I've added a few sparkly gems around my image, and I've embossed the golden frame surrounding her.  Leaves are beginning to turn a bit here and some have even fallen -- happy autumn to all.

Flying broom

This sweet witch comes from Crafty Sentiments Designs, which I've colored with prismas/gamsol.  I tucked a little black lace doily behind my image, the bats were done with a punch and foam-mounted.   The cat is a die-cut, and I put some green behind for its eyes and a little pink for its nose and also foam-mounted.   The pumpkin is a little wood cut-out that I found in my Halloween/autumn stash, along with the little glittered dots.   My verse was computer-generated in a "chiller" font.
